Pursuant to the Third Judicial District’s Administrative Judge August 6, 2021 Order Re: Postponement of Jury Trials in Canyon, Gem, and Payette Counties and Mandatory Safety Protocols in the Third Judicial District, Jury Trials in Canyon County are suspended and postponed beginning the week of August 16, 2021. Parties are urged to contact their attorney to determine the nature of any scheduled hearing or proceeding.

Please check the County’s online daily court schedule or the iCourt Portal if you believe you may have a hearing scheduled on a given day. If you have a question about any upcoming hearing or court date, please call the Canyon Clerk’s Office at (208) 454-7571.

The August 6 Order also mandates that If you are scheduled to attend a court proceeding in person at the courthouse or if you come to the courthouse to conduct court business, all persons are required to wear a mask while in a court facility on court business. Additionally, all persons, not of the same household, must observe a minimum of six feet of social distancing from other persons. Do not enter courtrooms or approach court services offices if you:

• • • Have been asked to self-isolate by any doctor, hospital, or health agency;
    • Have been diagnosed with, but have not yet recovered from COVID-19; or
    • Are experiencing any signs or symptoms of illness including fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, shills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain,  headache, or new loss of taste or smell.
