The Canyon County Elections Office is looking for individuals to serve as poll workers for the upcoming November 8 General Election. To apply, you must be 16 years of age or older and a U.S. Citizen.
Poll workers are a critical component in ensuring that Election Day goes smoothly for voters. Their duties include helping voters through the check-in process by verifying names and addresses, registering voters, issuing ballots, and handing out the popular “I Voted” stickers. Poll workers must be able to work a 14-hour day on Election Day, from 7:00 a.m. to approximately 9:00 p.m. Pay is $149 per election. Poll workers must also attend a short training session before each election.
